Experienced Marijuana Hacks You Need
A fortune was made from the For Dummies books. Wine, gardening, hiking, etc. People love to learn about what they enjoy and men especially love to feel like an expert. Even wine newbies love figuring out how to best enjoy the flavor and body. So here are some expert marijuana hacks you need.
You know the old saying, “You can’t teach old dogs new tricks”? Don’t believe it. Whether you’re a long-time user or just curious about cannabis, technology and new products open up a realm of fresh ideas for you.
Spice jars make great nug containers
Got an empty cinnamon jar or garlic powder jar? You know the kind that has two separate lids, one with small holes and another main lid? They make great containers, especially if they’re made of glass.
These small containers are great for keeping your buds fresher for longer. They act as a MacGuyverish humidor. Here’s how:

Take a small piece of paper towel (or napkin) and lightly wet it. Don’t soak that thing. I prefer to use distilled water as it doesn’t contain any foreign matter. Place the paper between the two lids.
That’s it. Your cannabis will not dry out.
Tip: DO NOT put the jar back in the pantry or spice cabinet or where your actual spices are kept.
Freeze! Make ice cubes out of CannaJuice
If you’re lucky enough to live in states that allow the sale of cannabis beverages, this trick is great. Or if you make your own cannabis tea, that works too.
Simply pour the liquid into the ice cube tray (I prefer to buy a mold that accepts half-cup sized cubes). Now you have cannabis in your freezer ready to use anytime.
Use them to make a smoothie. Or invent your favorite cocktail.
NOTE: It is not advisable to mix cannabis with alcohol.
Variety is the spice of life – especially music.
Music and marijuana go together like peanut butter and jelly. Before your session, make sure you have selected your playlist. Sometimes making a playlist while disabled isn’t ideal. So take some time and choose your tunes.

I suggest making multiple playlists depending on your mood: wake and bake list, chilling list, workout list, in-the-bedroom list. you know the drill
If you love your playlist, be sure to share it with your friends
Eat a mango
If you eat a mango about 45 minutes before a cannabis session, the THC can be absorbed into your body faster and the high will last longer. For some, the heady feeling will be a little more intense.
The sweet tropical fruits are packed with myrcene, a terpene that interacts with THC. Myrcene is also known to have antitumor, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. In addition, it reduces resistance across the blood-brain barrier, allowing itself and many other chemicals to cross the barrier more easily and quickly. Including THC.
Added bonus: mangoes are not only delicious, they are also packed with vitamins and nutrients. It’s a win-win situation.
Do-it-yourself kief pellets
If you are an advanced cannabis user, you now undoubtedly know what kief is.
Buying kief pellets can be expensive, and supply can be patchy in certain regions of the country. No worries. Here’s how to make your own kief pellets. All you need is kief, scissors, two pencils, a piece of paper and tape.

First, cut a piece of paper into a strip about 5 cm wide and 15 cm long and wrap it tightly around a pencil. Attach the tape to the paper so that it keeps the shape of a tube. Remove the pencil. Carefully fill the paper tube with kief. Use the other pencil to pack the kief firmly into the tube.
A curling iron isn’t just for your hair
Now that you have small kief pellets, you can use a hair iron to make homemade hash. Yes, a simple curling iron will come in handy.
With pressure and heat, kief can be pressed into hashish. All you need is kief, parchment paper, and a hair iron. Place the kief in folded parchment paper. Apply pressure and heat it with the iron for about 5-10 seconds. The kief is compressed into a firmer shape. Break off small pieces and smoke or vaporize or add to tea.
Take a Walk on the Mild Side: Tolerance Holidays
Almost any regular cannabis user will find their tolerance changing over time. That pleasant euphoric feeling is getting harder and harder to experience. Maybe it’s time for a “tolerance holiday”.

Tolerance holidays, also known as T-breaks, allow your body and mind to recalibrate. When you’ve been using cannabis for a long period of time, your system becomes desensitized to its psychoactive effects. If you keep putting THC in your body, the receptors that bind to it will become compromised. Give your system a break.
If possible, 30 days is optimal for the T-break, but a week is also sufficient.
Added bonus: You’ll have a few extra dollars in your bank account.
