Everything you need to know about the MonthLeaf subscription box
With all of the cannabis subscription services out there, it can be difficult to pinpoint which ones actually match the style you’re looking for. Enter month sheet. Co-founder Bryanne Vincent helped build this California cannabis subscription service that offers an easier way to get everything you need from start to finish – all in one box.
MonthLeaf boxes not only help customers familiarize themselves with new and trending cannabis products at unbeatable prices, but also make delivery services outside of the store more visible and accessible to customers. The brand works with a new dispenser every month to fill each box.
The MonthLeaf subscription service is only available in the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Los Angeles, but the company hopes to expand its reach in the future. (Disclosure: Monthleaf participated in Weedmaps’ social equity program).
How does a MonthLeaf subscription work?
First, browse through the collection of available boxes. All offer a $ 10 discount coupon for Daileaf.com and additional discounts at local pot shops. Each box, except the Mini, is valued at $ 150, but most memberships cost around $ 100 per month – $ 120 if you opt for a one-time box.
Choose from five box types:
- Pouf: Get 4-6 strains and smokable products like prerolls and vape cartridges along with a cannabis accessory.
- Edible: Receive 5-6 premium edibles like gummies, chocolates, and more, along with a cannabis accessory.
- CBD: Get 5-6 CBD-dominant products like tinctures, edibles, and flowers, along with cannabis-friendly accessories
- Sampler: Receive 5 – 6 different products, such as tinctures, drinks, flowers and more, along with a cannabis accessory.
- Mini: Get flowers from the partner pharmacy of the month and 1-2 cannabis accessories (basically a mini version of the puff box) valued at over $ 75 and costing $ 50.
Note: All prices are exclusive of VAT and delivery for monthly membership
After you’ve chosen your preferred box, you can use MonthLeaf’s Customization Survey to customize it to suit your needs. After you’ve filled in your settings, decide whether you want a one-time box or a monthly membership subscription. When everything is ready, MonthLeaf will show you which local pharmacies are filling your box and the best days and times to get it – you can tip the delivery driver from there.
Monthly sheet
At the beginning of each month you will receive a call or SMS to confirm your preferred delivery date and time. Depending on availability, you should receive your box within three days. If you order after the 20th of the month, you can choose to receive your box for the month, wait until the 1st, or receive both. It all depends on you.
In June, MonthLeaf’s partner in the Bay Area was Green on the Go, a local delivery service that gave me a seamless experience. The delivery was quick, discreet, communicative and my driver was extremely friendly.
What’s in this month’s box?
The June 2021 boxing theme is Sugar Daddy, in honor of Father’s Day, Pride Month, and those who love a good, cheesy papa joke. I chose the Sampler Box and the Mini Box to try it out.
Here are brief reviews of what was inside:
Sample box
STIIIZY LIIIT Presidential OG 3.5g: That flower grown indoors is out of this world. Its fat, sticky buds made me euphoric and relaxed. I recommend enjoying this indica strain at sunset.
Pacific Stone Wedding Cake Cartridge: One of the most delicious and terpene-rich flavors I’ve ever tried in a cartridge. Plus the gentlest pull. It’s sweet, herbaceous, and strong enough that a full ounce will last for a while.
Bloom battery: A standard battery, but it’s battery life for me. I charged it once almost two weeks ago and it is still working. Pretty impressive.
Flav apple rings: I’m a fan of gummy bears, so these were an easy addition to my evening finale. These sour apple rings are delicious and have great texture. At 10 milligrams per gum, dosing is child’s play.
Flav Tropical Punch Mix: A pack of it mixed with water alone tasted a bit bland, but a little would probably be great in a summer cocktail. At the weekend I drink this during the day.
Cosmic Snickerdoodle: The cutest little biscuit! It was tough, sweet, and had no herbaceous taste. An ideal microdose of just 10 milligrams.
Mini box
Dime Bag Banana Dream 3.5g: This bright, heady sativa got me energized, focused, and ready to tackle my to-do list. The nuggets, however, were on the smaller side.
Sublime sundae Driver Fuzzie Shortie: Although the sesh was short-lived, this little shortie had a punch. The infused pre-roll took me to that perfect high level and burned beautifully.
Sublime OG Kush King Fuzzie: This gem of an infused pre-roll made me levitate. It was a sublime combination of head and body high, really, great to see a movie marathon.
Delicious lemon cake pre-roll: A lemony, cheesy, and sweet sativa joint. I recommend this when you are feeling social and ready to have a productive conversation.
Both of my boxes had donut shaped glass pipes which were adorable and have become my favorite items lately. And of course, all boxes of smokable products come with joint papers, a hemp wick and a lighter.
What’s the attraction?
MonthLeaf Box subscriptions come with a long list of benefits. They are an ideal option for those looking for a unified approach to exploring and tasting high quality products available in their local cannabis market without spending too much money or leaving their home. If customers want to try a box, they don’t have to sign up for a monthly membership, but it’s more expensive.
With the monthly subscription, you can cancel at any time. The boxes also contain coupons for use in local stores, discounts for pharmacy partners and the box has a new fun theme every month. MonthLeaf offers savings, flexibility and efficiency. And what cannabis enthusiast doesn’t like opening a big box of weed?
As mentioned earlier, MonthLeaf is only available in certain parts of California, which is a disadvantage for everyone else. But if you’re based in one of their California operating areas, MonthLeaf is another great way to support and learn about your local cannabis delivery services. MonthLeaf makes it easy but exciting to spread your love for local cannabis.
Bottom line: If you want to support local businesses and personalized grass boxes at reasonable prices, consider a MonthLeaf subscription.
