Elon Musk uses the potential of psychedelics at CodeCon

Embark on a long, strange journey into the mind of a genius. Elon Musk – who became the richest person in the world on September 27, surpassing Jeff Bezos – said people should be “open to psychedelics” at a CodeCon event on Tuesday.

Field Trip Health executive chairman Ronan Levy spoke to Musk during an interview at CodeCon 21, a celebrated technology development event, and confronted him about whether or not he endorsed psychedelics for therapeutic purposes.

“I think people should be open to psychedelics in general,” Musk said. The meeting continued.

“You have spent a lot of time talking about space, and I want to ask you about interior space. What role do you think psychedelics could play in combating some of the destructive tendencies of humanity? ”Asked Levy Musk.

“A lot of the people who make laws come from another time,” Musk replied. “When the new generation comes to power in politics, I believe we will experience greater receptivity to the benefits of psychedelics.”

Field Trip Health offers psychedelic assisted therapies. In a press release dated Aug. 31, Field Trip announced new programs, including one that allows eligible therapists to offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) to their patients at Field Trip health centers. You will deploy Field Trip’s medical teams to screen, prescribe, and administer ketamine.

Field Trip’s programs will provide therapists and healthcare professionals with both didactic and experiential training on KAP. Therapists who complete Field Trip’s training programs are automatically eligible for the KAP Co-op program.

It’s not the first time that the SpaceX founder and multibillionaire has spoken out in favor of psychedelics.

On November 14, 2020, Musk tweeted three statements: “You can’t win; You cannot be compensated; and you can’t stop playing, ”then tweet in the thread,“ Unless you’re on DMT. ”Twitter couldn’t handle the statement and commentators suspected whether it was an admission that the billionaire was ayahuasca or Had tried DMT.

Why is that important? Because so much weight is often given to Musk’s opinions – given his stratospheric wealth and influence. Musk’s powers are evident in the way his comments significantly influenced and influenced the value of Dogecoin and Bitcoin.

Elon Musk on cannabis

Cannabis – itself a mild psychedelic – is also a recurring theme in the billionaire’s life. In 2019, Musk smoked a blunt on The Joe Rogan Experience – and High Times asked if it was “the most expensive blunt ever”.

Few people in the world are scrutinized as thoroughly as Musk when it comes to personal habits like smoking cannabis. Smoking a dull life sparked a firestorm.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has sanctioned Musk. There was an active petition to get Twitter to deplate him – and pop stars even drew him to Instagram. Even Musk’s SpaceX assets weren’t safe. NASA also examined Musk after his debacle on the podcast. NASA launched a security clearance of SpaceX shortly after his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, according to three unnamed sources speaking to the Washington Post.

Given the investments NASA is making in SpaceX, blunt smoking was a big deal for them. At the time, NASA spokesman Bob Jacobs did not comment on whether Musk’s smoking a blunt was the trigger for the review. However, he did mention the importance of SpaceX following the rules of a drug-free workplace.

In another episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Musk suggested that most of the CBD experiences are “fake” and mostly hype. Rogan immediately trained him and scolded him for dismissing the site as an advantage for people around the world.
