Claws out: cute cannabis nail inspo for summer 2022
Sun is shining, claws up! As we indulge in the best days of the year, it’s only natural that we want to look our best from head to toe.
It may surprise you, but cultures around the world have been polishing, coloring and beautifying their nails for thousands of years, from ancient Egypt to Chinese royalty.
Our nails are literally an extension of who we are, and there’s no better time for weed lovers than to let their hands do the talking. What do you say? We love weed!
Colors, colors, colors
Summer is sensual, lush and vibrant. Flora is blooming and fauna is booming. Your nails should reflect that! Plus saturated tones and gradients add great visual stimulation as the joint hits. If Seth Rogen can do it, so can you.
Light up with your favorite Weedy characters
Buttercup may not have smoked Powerpuff Girls before, but we can all agree that Shaggy from Scooby-Doo and Rick from Rick & Morty definitely lit up on and off screen. Who knows what Alice was smoking in Wonderland, but she looked cute while doing it.
Go literally
Why beat around the bush? While we don’t recommend smoking this joint (and please only light it under supervision in a ventilated area with no combustible objects), you couldn’t send a more obvious summer smoke signal to a stoned woman.
Make it work
Not all heroes wear cloaks. Janay Brown, the founder of Virginia-based fruit-infused papermaker and herbalist Growf, was tired of “burning her cute fingers on the roaches” of her blunts and joints. So she made a nail with a holder hole that would make Cruella Deville tremble with envy.
For those confused and asking, yeah haha I’m smoking a blunt with my nail.💅🏾✨💨
