Cap Junky x Permanent Marker – Seven Leaves, CA, Winter 2024

99 out of 100 points

Price: $55/eighth

Ready to keep winning? The 2023 Leafly Strain of the Year Permanent Marker joins a SOTY runner-up, Cap Junky, in this standout flower grown by Sacramento's Seven Leaves.

Both varieties are almost impossible to improve on, but Seven Leaves does just that. It's a permanent marker with more fuel. Or it's appetizing Cap Junky with some purple. In any case, the smell hits a 10 on the “marker fumes meets gasoline” scale, and that perfection extends to the taste. The high doesn't get any higher and the view from the top doesn't get any nicer as the permanent marker dials back Cap Junky's ripping G-forces a bit. Honestly, I don't know what more you could ask for from a cannabis flower.
