Cannabis Hacking Yourself to a Better You!

Before we begin – there will be talk of weed! However, in order to make this article be the most effective it can be – Let’s start at the beginning.

For as long as I can remember, I have been working on aligning my unconscious mind with my conscious desire. I first started meditating in my early teens and understood that reality is an “individualized experience” based on the core narratives that sustains our “framework for reality”.

A lot of our “beliefs” aren’t ours.

When we’re born, the first “gift” we receive from our parents or caregivers is “their programming”. They are operating under their assumptions, their views of the world, which all govern their behavior.

In return, we observe, internalize, and learn these behavioral patterns as this is our only reference to how life works as infants.

Over time, we develop reasoning and we start questioning the intentions behind behavior. We begin to differentiate between “accepted and unaccepted”, and we have a filter that allows us to decide whether to internalize or ignore an experience.

However, prior to this point – all of our beliefs were unfortunately (or fortunately) accepted without dispute. This means that there’s roughly eight years of unconscious programming lurking in the unconscious mind dictating your behavior and actions throughout life.

You had no decision in these.

Then, the following years, as you kept on maturing from eight years old and onwards – your psychobiological system was undergoing a LOT of hormonal changes. Especially, when you hit your teens.

Once again, with a fragile ego under extreme stress from the irregularities due to hormonal developments – we internalize a lot of external noise and commit them to core beliefs.

As time goes on, these beliefs entrench themselves and become unconscious processes. You simply “feel like this” and you don’t know why.

For example, someone who has been told repeatedly throughout their life that they simply aren’t “achievers like their peers” might develop a core belief where they don’t see themselves as “valuable”. How would this core belief of “not feeling self worth” affect one’s behavior?

Would you “try to do something difficult” or would you try to remain as lukewarm as possible?

Once someone becomes aware of these unconscious processes, they have a choice in allowing them to persist if they aren’t causing too much inconveniences in their lives. Or they might actively try to “reprogram them.”

For example, someone who has a sweet tooth and buys themselves a bar of chocolate every now and then to satisfy this “unconscious craving”, aren’t as likely to want to “cut out the habit” than someone who is frequently spending his last paycheck on the “next big thing” trying to make a break out of desperation – his/her base state.

You see, some programming is more destructive than others.

Now – there are numerous ways to reprogram the unconscious mind. One part starts by “unlearning the things you’ve learned”. This is another way of saying, “redefining what these core obsessions mean to you”.

For example, in the weekly-chocolate-gobbler example, the person is not obsessively spending all their money on chocolates, nor do they have any risk of diabetes. It’s a well-managed program that does minimal (if any) general damage to the wellbeing of the person.

Why the person buys the chocolate in the first place could be due to a childhood experience where a parent purchased them that specific chocolate or something similar – and their mind is constantly reliving that behavioral experience.

The unconscious mind doesn’t distinguish between “what is imagined or memorized” and what is really happening. Nonetheless, this type of programming can be called a “happiness loop”, where the experience is being “relived by the unconscious” on a periodic fashion.

However, in the “desperate-spender” example, the programming is far more destructive. This behavior obviously stems from a traumatic experience of lack or poverty. They are betting all their money on “The One Thing” that will save them, always losing – never winning. Reliving the traumatic event – a form of PTSD playing out in their conscious life until it gets interrupted and reprogrammed.

We’re all subjected to these unconscious programming. Some of these programs are helping us achieve our goals, and others are standing in our ways.

But if this is all true, then also it must be true that we can reprogram behavior!

And this is exactly correct.

We do have the ability to reprogram our core programming but it takes time, repetition, and a commitment to the result for it to work.

AND NOW – is where the WEED comes into play.

As someone who has experimented with all of these mind-technologies as well as plant medicines, I believe that there is a way that you can utilize cannabis to accelerate the reprogramming.

Let me explain!

CAN CANNABIS BE USED TO REPROGRAM THE MIND!

This is the question on everyone’s mind should be, “how does one go about reprogramming the unconscious mind?”

To answer this question, we must first understand how it is we come to internalize these programs in the first place. I’ve already spoken about how as children we internalize these core beliefs because we don’t have any reference to “how reality works”.

We simply assume this to be true and accept it.

After that however, our unconscious minds enters into the “fact finding mode” where it simply tries to find as many affirmations about the idea as possible to make it “stronger”.

For example, a girl is told by her mother that  she is beautiful. Throughout her childhood, this was the predominant message. As she grows up with this belief, her behavior is influenced by it. She tries to understand “what beautiful” is according to her mother, and begins to behave according to that script. The more that the mother affirms the behavior, the more integral it becomes to her identity.

Then, as she grows up and begins to win over the affection of suitable partners – the message of “you’re beautiful” keeps on being affirmed – albeit in completely different contexts. Perhaps, the core message of “you’re beautiful” warps over time from what was intended to what “mother thought was beautiful” to “how men treated me as a result” which would influence our hypothetical woman’s behavioral choices.

All of this narrative construction happens unconsciously of course. “You” merely experience the moments whereas the unconscious mind ascribes the meaning to it and accepts the core truths or rejects the idea.

Emotions measure the intensity of the programming

Interestingly, the programming becomes MORE POWERFUL the more emotionally invested you are within the experience. For example, if a homeless person calls you a loser because you failed to give him your last dollar – the command wouldn’t have as much influence.

Comparatively, if your father calls you a loser for flunking a math exam – the sting of the command will be far more pronounced.

Which one of the two do you believe would be considered to have “more influence” over the person? The bum on the street you’re the person who raised you your entire life?

The answer is simple.

Emotional Connection is a critical component of shifting ones core programming. If you can’t completely connect, “heart, body and soul” to the core concepts like you did when you first learned the ones you don’t want anymore – then your programming will not be as strong.

Your original belief structures might override your new ones, as it would sit “deeper” within the narrative of the self.

That is of course, only if you can’t connect with the “new programming” with similar intensity.

However, thankfully there is a way to not only affirm a new reality, but also engage with it in the same emotional intensity (or more), by utilizing a combination of cannabis, binaural beats, and breathwork.

Canna-Affirmations – The Secret of the Secret’s Secret!

I know a few savvy folks got the joke.

We know that in order for us to accept a new programming, we need to be able to engage with it on an emotional level. We need to be able to fully accept it and integrate it into our core narrative.

One way you can do this is by visualizing. Since the unconscious mind cannot distinguish between what is imagined and what is real – you can utilize visualization as a means of “simulating” the experiences you desire.

We can call this the original Virtual Reality – the one generated from within the mind’s eye.

For those who cannot “visualize” – you would have to bypass this aspect and focus solely into the kinesthetic senses. In other words – What would it “feel like” to be?

You could visualize yourself living the life you want, or you how you’re achieving a specific objective or desire. You always want to visualize it in “real time” or “in the present”, as if it’s happening in this moment and also “in first person”.

In other words, “be the visualization” – don’t look at it as if you’re watching a movie.

It takes a bit of practice to master this, however, when you do – you’d have unlocked a master key of personal development.

But where does weed come into all of this?

This is where the psychonaut in me steps in.

When it comes to visualization and connecting the emotion to it – it can get tricky. In order to reach these deep meditative experiences – you usually need to enter into a deep meditative state. If you’re a regular meditator – this can take a matter of minutes.

But for the average Schmoe reaching and maintaining a deep state of meditation can be a difficult thing. And if you don’t really reach these points – your programming will be weak(er).

Therefore, you can use a small dose of cannabis – preferably an edible – and utilize pre-recorded affirmation meditations to engage fully with the nervous system, the mind, the body – everything.

The reason you want to use a pre-recorded session is because sometimes the cannabis can make your mind wander. If you have a pre-recorded meditation to follow – you can sit back and allow the meditation to guide you.

This is especially true if you can find an “alpha wave meditation” as when the mind is in an “alpha branwave” state – it’s hyper attentive to whatever messages are being streamed towards it. Especially if the participant is willing.

Alpha states are deep meditative states where you’re fully aware yet completely relaxed. It’s like being “in the zone” sort of. You’re locked in and focused. Your whole mind and body is geared towards achieving the objective.

To put the cherry on the top, you’ll probably want to fully engage the nervous system. The easiest way to do this is to simply breathe! When you shift the breath you physically shift systems in your body. You can take the nervous system from the sympathetic mode to the parasympathetic mode and back. You can speed up or slow down your heart beat.

All of this by simply changing the breath.

Therefore; what do you get when;

CANNABIS + ALPHA WAVE BINAURAL BEATS + GUIDED BREATH MEDITATION + DESIRED AFFIRMATIONS = ?

The Answer = DEEP UNCONSCIOUS REPROGRAMMING!

You check all of the boxes except one – can you fully accept the core of the message. Can you make this become your truth?

Making Affirmations Stick

Firstly, an affirmation is simply a core message you want to install into your being. Perhaps it’s something like, “I’m a lucky person!”

At first, you might not believe it. However, the thing about belief is that it doesn’t become “core” at first. At first it’s simply an idea.

Then, over time, with repetition, the idea begins to burrow itself into the self. It eventually grows roots, and begins to look for evidence of the affirmation. The more it collects, the “truer” it becomes.

Eventually, it finds “evidence of truth” everywhere. It no longer needs to justify itself as a thought – it became a belief. And now, this is a force that governs your behavior.

Therefore, in order to make an affirmation stick you need to;

  1. Repeat the affirmation – potentially at the same time of the day

  2. Be fully engaged with the affirmations

  3. Accept the core message with an open heart and enthusiasm

  4. Find evidence of it in the real world

The final part is critical. You can’t just say something and make it become true. You need to say it, internalize it, accept it, and find evidence of it in the real world.

This means that if “I’m lucky”, then you need to actively search for moments in your life where you indeed are lucky.

The more you find, the more you’ll find. No, this is not a typo!

Therefore, it’s not simply a passive act. It’s about learning, incorporating and acting in accordance with the idea until it sticks.

The minimal time for this to happen is through 21-days of repetition. However, think about the core beliefs you hold dear to your heart – you’ve been working on those for years…decades even!

So what can you reprogram anyway?

Well, anything really. The thing about an “identity” is that it’s simply a construct of stories we believe about ourselves. This is precisely why “identity politics” is such a batshit concept or the “no man’s land” for rationality.

Identity is a construct of beliefs.

Beliefs are ideas that have been accepted as “truths” by the self. Most ideas are given to us and accepted on autopilot. Some beliefs are constructed by us.

Therefore, anything you believe about yourself can be reprogrammed. If you believe that “I am fat and unhealthy”, you can reprogram your mind to believe that you are “healthy and fit”. Or if you are living from paycheck to paycheck thinking, “making money is hard”, you can change that belief into “making money is easy and fun”, if you want to.

It’s not always easy since there’s a lot of work to be undone and a lot of new ideas to be installed. This takes work.

However, the work isn’t the hustle of obtaining the desired result. Rather, “The work” is about changing the core beliefs you harbor and aligning them with your desire.

If tomorrow you wanted to become a professional baker – you could. It might be a difficult path for you to get there, but it certainly “CAN BE DONE”.

The question is – do you want it badly enough?

ENLIGHTENED CONCLUSION

All of the things I mentioned in this article is well known. People use affirmations and mantras everyday for success.

“I’m killing it!” a sales person might yell or “today’s MY day,” a nervous temp says convincingly in the mirror before entering into the office of executives.

We all use affirmations to psyche us up or to convince us of things. We know that binaural beats will make your brainwaves harmonize with whatever frequency is being projected. We know that the Alpha Brain Waves are between 9-12 hz.

We know that we need to be emotionally engaged with whatever concept we wish to internalize. We also know that our mind-body connection needs to be strong and that the nervous system needs to be engaged.

We understand that we need to not only “visualize our desired results”, but experience it from first person perspective.

And we know that cannabis can help us bypass our own internal censors, that screams “this is stupid!” trying to keep you on the path of least resistance.

So when you combine all of these together – you’re bound to have a compound effect and have a profound experience.

If you don’t believe me – how about the following experiment. How about reprogram your mind with wealth and abundance?

For the next 21-days – take a hit or two of weed (or eat a small edible) and wait for the effects to kick in. Then, do this Alpha Waves Abundance Affirmations Recording. Allow yourself to fully absorb these ideas, and see how it affects your money flow.

You might be surprised and the best of all, it’s absolutely free!
