Cannabis Cup Oklahoma 2021 prepares for the kickoff

High Times is proud to present the Cannabis Cup Oklahoma 2021 competition. Since 1988, the Cannabis Cup tradition has expanded from its humble beginnings in Amsterdam to several state competitions in the US, eventually becoming synonymous with cannabis stories.

It’s the High Times’ second competition open to the public in Oklahoma, which means we’ll see the largest judging panel in the state’s history. Categories include Best Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid; as well as pre-rolls and infused pre-rolls; Indica and sativa concentrates; Solvent-free concentrates; Indica and sativa vape pens; Edibles; Rubbers; as well as topicals + tinctures + capsules and CBD from hemp.

Richter kits will be available for purchase at select retail locations across Oklahoma starting July 24th for all 18+ medical patients with a valid Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) card: including Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Stillwater, Edmond, Norman, Nichols Hill and Lawton. The jury is adjourned on September 12th and the winners will be announced on September 19th.

There are a number of factors that set Oklahoma apart from other states that have legislated for medicinal cannabis, and here are a few reasons: The lack of state license caps has resulted in a rush of businesses unlike any other state. Also, there are no specific qualifying medical conditions for patients – evidence of better access to medical cannabis.
