Cannabis Cinnamon Rolls
Want to wake up with a special breakfast? Try this marijuana breakfast treat!
During the 1985 holiday season, food history was made with the opening of the first Cinnabon® Bakery at SeaTac Mall in Seattle, Washington. Thousands of eager customers waited to try the original Cinnabon® cinnamon roll, and it became an instant obsession. A father and son took the sweet, gooey breakfast pastry and made it available to the world. This was the second big change for the roll: canned cinnamon rolls hit the market in 1956, transforming weekend mornings in millions of homes. Combining breakfast and dessert is a great way to start a special morning, but if you want something extra special, enjoy these cannabis cinnamon rolls this weekend!
This recipe gives you the option to use spices, as you don't necessarily have to use cinnamon. Adding other tangy spices to the mix like ginger, clove, lemon, and cardamom will make things more interesting. Loads of butter, sugar, and THC all play supporting roles in some of the best rolls around.

To make the dough, knead it in a food processor or bread machine until you have a very wet-looking lump. A bread machine will do the rising for you, but if you don't, place the dough in a well-oiled bowl, cover with oiled plastic wrap, and let it rise for at least an hour. It should have tripled in size and now be a huge, fluffy cloud of deliciousness.

Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it out into a sheet. Spread room temperature butter on the sheet and then add all your delicious spices and sugar.

Roll this slab into a log, then use a sharp or serrated knife to cut it into about 15 slices. Place the slices in a generously greased square metal or glass baking dish, then let rise again for 45 minutes to an hour.

When you're ⅔ of the way through the second rise, preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

Place it in the pan and bake, watching closely, for 15-20 minutes.

They will cook fairly quickly, so if your oven gets too hot, lower the temperature to 350 degrees. Let them cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before eating.
*Canna butter
Decarboxylate 3.5g of finely ground cannabis at 225 degrees for 20 minutes in a tightly sealed oven-safe container. Place the cannabis in a lidded mason jar or vacuum-sealed bag with cannabis and a stick of butter. Heat in a double boiler just below boiling point for at least 1 hour. Strain and cool to use in recipes.

Now comes the fun part: spices like cinnamon and cardamom can actually help you get higher on a single dose of THC. The same flavors in these spices are the terpenes that give a cannabis strain different effects, like myrcene. Play with the ratios and you can change the effect, but it will all still taste like that delicious cinnamon that will make for lasting memories every time you fill the house with its glorious presence. Try sealing and freezing a few individually, then you can enjoy a single serving of medicated breakfast anytime!
