Cannabis and the Ability to Control the Weather?

Cannabis and the Ability to Control Weather: Can the Herb Help Us Manipulate the Elements?

I know what you’re thinking, “Reg – you be smoking too much of da Ganj” and while this is certainly true, the “can of crazy” I’m about to open up will most certainly have a large number of people scoff and call it “woo woo”.

And you know what, you’re probably right!

However, I’m the type of person that enjoys putting my mind and beliefs on the sacrificial table and grinding an axe to decapitate it in one fell swoop. Why? Because dogma is a trap that forms over time when you get comfortable on your “way of seeing things”.

Over time, your unconscious mind builds up systems that support your beliefs. Then, whenever a new idea pops up into your scope – you automatically reject it.

Our belief systems can be thought of as an “immune system” for our minds. Just as our physical immune system works to protect our bodies from harmful pathogens, our belief systems work to protect our minds from cognitive dissonance and challenges to our beliefs.

When we encounter new information or ideas that conflict with our existing beliefs, our mind automatically goes into defense mode. We may reject the new information outright, or we may try to find ways to reconcile it with our existing beliefs. This can manifest in different ways, such as rationalizing, dismissing, ignoring, or even attacking the person or idea that is challenging our beliefs.

This immune response is not necessarily a bad thing. It allows us to maintain a sense of consistency and coherence in our beliefs, which can be important for our mental well-being. However, it can also be limiting, as it prevents us from truly engaging with new ideas and perspectives.

To truly grow and evolve, it’s important to be open to challenges to our beliefs and to be willing to question our assumptions. By doing so, we can build a stronger, more resilient belief system that can adapt to new information and help us navigate an ever-changing world.

So with this in mind, let’s take a hit from a blunt and open our minds to the possibilities of “another way of being”.

Who is Matias de Stefano?

Matias de Stefano is an Argentinean spiritual teacher, speaker and author. He is the founder of the spiritual organization “The Academy of Inner Sciences” which aims to help people to achieve self-awareness and inner growth. He is well known for his teachings on the use of psychedelics as tools for personal transformation and spiritual development. He has written several books and has been a speaker in many conferences and events around the world, sharing his knowledge and experience about the use of psychedelics in a responsible and safe way. He emphasizes that psychedelics are not a panacea, but rather a powerful tool that can help individuals to access deeper levels of consciousness, to understand their own psyche, and to connect with a higher sense of purpose and meaning in life.

However, this is if you choose to believe his stories and see him in the light of a believer. Yet there are many people who think his teachings are bullshit. If you want to see many people discussing this bullshit and want to bail on the rest of this smoking article – check it out here and raise the sound of your echo-chamber!

While I do agree it’s very difficult to prove any of the things de Stefano is claiming, there are some concepts within psychedelia that I would like to explore – namely something I have written about before namely, “The Great Big Blob”.

This was an experience I had when I was deeply under the influence of psilocybin in the mountains of Oaxaca.

I saw the whole of reality as a soup of atoms, nothing truly apart from one another, everything connected, everything essentially the same thing.

This dude, speaks of the same thing, but then talks about using this concept to “shift your consciousness” into a different form of creation, which then would allow you to “act as if you are the thing you became”.

For example, using de Stefano’s criteria – making it rain by becoming the storm…

In other words…

According to this theory, if you can “let go of the self” and allow the ego to die, and then shift your consciousness into whatever it is you’re trying to influence – you can act “on behalf of” the thing you are channeling.

As a part time student of the occult, this is some fascinating stuff.

Even if it’s not “true”, it certainly creates enough space for some deep meditation, and I’ll be walking you through the meditation at the end of this article. I’m not going to write it out, just describe the general objective you’d be aiming for.

Sympathetic Magic Explained

Sympathetic magic, also known as “like attracts like” or “law of similarity,” is a principle that states that objects or actions that are similar or have a connection to one another can influence each other at a distance. This principle is found in many ancient belief systems, such as in sympathetic magic in the Hermeticism, Shamanism, and in the practices of hoodoo, voodoo, and rootwork.

One philosophy that references sympathetic magic is Hermeticism, which is a set of philosophical and religious beliefs based on the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus. Hermeticism teaches that by understanding the principles of sympathetic magic and using them in a specific way, one can manipulate the elements and bend reality to their will. This is known as “theurgy.”

Theurgy is a term used to describe the practice of rituals and ceremonies that are intended to bring about a direct experience of the divine. It is often associated with ancient Greek religion, but can also be found in other spiritual traditions around the world. The goal of theurgy is to transcend the everyday world and enter into a state of divine union or oneness with the divine.

The practice typically involves the use of ritual actions, such as chanting, meditating, and making offerings, as well as visualizing oneself in a state of union with the divine. This can be done through the use of symbols, such as statues or images, or by invoking the presence of the deity or divine being through prayer or invocation.

Some philosophers and mystics, such as the Neoplatonists, believed that the ultimate goal of theurgy was to achieve a state of divine illumination or enlightenment, in which the individual would be able to see and understand the true nature of reality. This was seen as a way to escape the cycle of reincarnation and achieve spiritual liberation.

Theurgy is also closely related to the concept of “sympathetic magic,” which is the belief that one can influence the world around them by imitating or mimicking the actions of the divine. This can include things like using specific words, making specific offerings, or performing specific rituals, in order to align oneself with the will of the divine and bring about desired changes in the world.

While the concept of theurgy may seem strange or unfamiliar to some, it is still practiced today by many people around the world who believe in the power of ritual and ceremony to bring about spiritual transformation. It has been studied by scholars of different disciplines, such as philosophy, religious studies, and anthropology.

Everything is Energy

The idea that everything is energy can be understood from various perspectives. From a scientific standpoint, energy is defined as the ability to do work, and it exists in many forms such as kinetic energy, potential energy, thermal energy, electromagnetic energy, and more. These forms of energy can be measured, quantified, and transferred from one form to another.

Philosophically, the concept of energy is central to various belief systems such as Eastern philosophy, where the concept of chi or prana is understood as the vital energy that animates all living beings. In quantum physics, the smallest particles that make up matter, such as atoms and subatomic particles, are understood to be made up of energy fields.

In a practical sense, everything we interact with in our daily lives is made up of energy. From the food we eat, the air we breathe, to the thoughts and emotions we experience. All of these things have a vibrational frequency and energy that can be felt and perceived. This idea of everything being energy can also be found in the concept of “Sympathetic magic” and theurgy where the idea is to connect and align with the elements to bend reality to one’s will.

Everything in the universe is made up of atoms and molecules, which are constantly in motion. These atoms and molecules are made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons, which are also in motion. This motion creates energy, which can be measured as vibrations. These vibrations are what make up matter, and everything in the universe is made up of matter.

In scientific terms, the concept of vibration is closely linked to the idea of wave-particle duality. This theory states that all particles, including atoms and molecules, have both wave-like and particle-like properties. The wave properties of these particles are directly related to their vibration or movement, and this wave-like behavior can be observed in phenomena such as diffraction and interference.

In philosophy, the concept of vibration can be seen in the idea that everything is interconnected. This interconnectedness is often described as a web of energy, with everything in the universe connected and influencing each other through vibrations or energy fields. This idea can be seen in Eastern philosophies such as Taoism and Hinduism, as well as in Western occult and esoteric traditions.

In quantum physics, the idea that everything is vibration is closely linked to the concept of superposition. This theory states that particles can exist in multiple states or locations at the same time, until they are observed or measured. This idea is closely linked to the concept of wave-particle duality, and it suggests that everything in the universe is in a constant state of vibration or movement.

In a practical manner, we can observe the concept of vibration in everyday life. Sound, light, heat, and electricity are all forms of energy that can be observed as vibrations. Even our own thoughts and emotions can be thought of as vibrations, as they create energy fields that can be felt and perceived by others. Understanding the concept of vibration can help us to understand the interconnectedness of everything in the universe and the ways in which energy can be harnessed and directed to create positive change.

The Theory of Controlling the elements

Controlling the weather with one’s mind, also known as “weather manipulation” or “atmospheric manipulation”, is a hypothetical concept that suggests that an individual can influence the weather patterns and atmospheric conditions through the use of their thoughts, emotions, and willpower. This concept is based on the principles of energy and vibration, which suggest that everything in the universe, including weather patterns and atmospheric conditions, is made up of energy that is constantly in motion or vibration.

According to the principles of energy and vibration, the human mind and body also emit energy in the form of thoughts, emotions, and physical vibrations. These energy emissions can interact with the energy of the environment and potentially influence the weather patterns and atmospheric conditions.

This concept is based on the idea that the human mind has the ability to influence the environment through the use of energy manipulation techniques such as visualization, affirmations, and meditation. Some people believe that by focusing their thoughts and emotions on a specific weather pattern or atmospheric condition, they can influence the energy of the environment and cause it to change.

However, within the paradigm of de Stefano – you don’t need to “know” how to manipulate the weather as much as “know” how to let go of the self and “Become” the weather.

This is where cannabis can come into play. I’m sure that many of you are fighting this information and your mind is looking for all the reasons to disprove it. Within esoteric circles this is known as the “psychic Censor” which is that little voice that tells you “bullshit!” in order to keep your belief system in tact.

Smoking some cannabis can help you override this, so when you meditate – try to do so after smoking a phatty!

Then, simply try to let go of the self, let go of your thoughts, emotions, everything – connect to the space around you, and then try to shift into anything. A plant, your dog, the air, whatever – connect to the essence of that which is around you, and once you’re there – try to do something from it’s perspective.

At the minimal – nothing happens. But maybe…just maybe, you can tap into a higher state of mental possibility…and you can change something in this world.
