Canadian Lumber Rolling Papers – Small Business Spotlight

Canadian wood rolling papers

Cigarette papers are what our world can sometimes be about. If you need one, you can’t find one, and when you finally have it it’s torn or the glue won’t stick. Fortunately, as a smoker, there is as much cigarette paper as the people who need it. It wasn’t until recently, when I realized that my everyday life was no longer working for me, that I really realized how important a good newspaper is.

I don’t know about you, but I grabbed the same papers I’d seen in movies all my life, on family members’ countertops, and what was there when I started smoking. The classic standby for good reason, ZigZags. In all honesty, I’ve never had a lot of problems with it in fifteen years – until now. Every joint I’ve rolled has been falling apart lately, the gums don’t last for the entire joint.

I’ve tried many different types of paper, in many different sizes. It seemed like I had to move to be a bong girl because nothing worked. Until the friendly head shop employee from the neighborhood pointed out his favorite brand – Canadian Lumber.

Canadian wood – rolling papers

Canadian Lumber Papers are served in three different styles of Rollies, The Woods, The Hippies or The Greens, each available in regular or 1.25 sheets. A detailed description of each item can be found here on the website, but I’ve got the important parts here for you to review.

The forest

– All natural wood pulp
– Reversible tray packaging (1.25s)
– Tips included (1.25s)
– One of the thinnest wood papers on the market
– Natural brown color

The green

– All natural hemp
– Reversible tray packaging (1.25s)
– Tips included (1.25s)
– Slowest burn
– Visible vegetable fibers

The hippie

– All natural flax & hemp
– Reversible tray packaging (1.25s)
– Tips included (1.25s)
– Unique combination of flax and hemp
– Resembles rice paper

For the health conscious smoker, The Hippy is a fantastic choice, not just for personal health, but for global impact as well. Personally, I adore The Greens, I love a slow burn and these papers have completely replaced my ZigZag silver. Because they’re unbleached, they may burn a little differently than most people, but that’s because popular rolling papers are made from pulp that has been bleached to get the white color we normally expect.

Ethical rolling papers

Canadian Lumber began in Novia Scotia, a province that began growing cannabis in 1607, and focuses on what might be called the Canadian Dream –

We work hard to ensure that Canadian Lumber represents not just what we believe in, but what all Canadians believe in: honesty, responsibility and quality.

Easy to roll up, easy to use, easy to find! These papers really live up to the claim they were sold to me on and I am very curious what you think of them! Check out Canadian Lumber’s Instagram and then come over to ours and let us know which of the Rollies is your favorite.
