The Cannabis Control Commission has seen steady growth in marijuana sales, noting that the state’s sales surpassed $2 billion eight months ago. During the holidays on April 20th this year, the total win in one day was $5,986,186.
These skyrocketing sales in the cannabis market have been matched by general sales successes in various states. It’s important to note that legal marijuana states collectively generated more than $3.7 billion in tax revenue compared to the prior year.
In Arizona and Michigan, legal cannabis sales brought in nearly $200 million in profits. On the other hand, Illinois is recovering from a sales slump earlier in the year, hitting $132 million in April. Colorado has seen a decline in sales compared to last year.
