Large amounts of carbohydrate-rich foods and drinks of all kinds can put you in a sleepy state while your body continues to process everything. The holiday begins on Friday and there are celebrations ahead. Maybe the week after Thanksgiving is time to give your body a reset and take a break from anything involving turkey and alcohol — at least until the holiday parties begin. A detox is best approached with a relaxed attitude, not to lose weight, but to give your body a break, eat something healthy, regulate your digestive system and regulate your mood.

There is also CBD. Although the compound is poorly researched, CBD has been shown to reduce inflammation and promote cardiovascular health – aspects that could be beneficial when used in a detox.

Detoxification practices vary from person to person, with some choosing more extreme measures than others. While some detox methods have a bad reputation, a sensible detox regimen that avoids alcohol, smoking, and high-fat foods while promoting exercise, drinking water, and a healthy diet can only produce good results.

Adding some weed to the mix can help maximize these benefits and make detoxification easier. At least you’ll have fun.
