Can a laser bong withstand heavy use? Hitoki Interview and Trident V2 Hard Kilometer Review – Cannabis News, Lifestyle
I smoke a lot of weed and my gear gets gnarly fast. If it’s not durable, well made and easy to clean, it won’t last long. In order for me to invest in a smoking device, I need to be sure that it will work well regardless of heavy and continuous use. Anything else feels like burning money, and I’m sure many stoners can relate.
I recently purchased Hitoki’s Trident V2 laser bong and wrote a detailed product review. For me the V2 is impressive and it has everything I need. But how long will this good cause last? In order to live up to the price tag of five hundred euros, it has to be able to handle hard kilometers. How resilient and solid can a laser bong be? Faced with this burning question, I threw myself headfirst into thorough research; I interviewed the Hitoki team to find out what the instructions don’t tell… I’ve also put in some hard miles on my laser bong. Here’s a recap of the Trident V2’s hard mileage and key takeaways from the interview with Hitoki’s creative team.
Concentrates and Hashish
The manual doesn’t tell you anything about it, but you can use this laser bong to smoke hash without any restrictions. It is also excellent for cannabis concentrates. To do this successfully, you need to create a small bed of ruptured buds to catch any melting extracts. The temperature of the laser hits an optimal point at the same time; Basically, it can both burn the buds and vaporize the concentrate at the same time.
hard kilometers
I’m a clumsy guy, especially with little tricky things that require precision; According to my father, I could never have dinner with the queen. Thankfully, this device can handle someone like me. Made of metal, ceramic and acrylic material, it can endure being knocked off a table. Because it’s durable and easy to use, it’s possible to load and draw with just one hand.
An ideal device for outdoor use, as its closed design protects the inner workings from the weather. This laser bong makes smoking weed possible in the craziest of circumstances. You could be on a sandy beach on a windy day or in the rain at an outdoor concert, this thing wouldn’t let you down. While it wouldn’t be ideal, you could technically use it in a mosh pit. This bong is almost unbreakable.
Broken laser bong – the replacement process
… So I managed to break my unbreakable bong (ugh). The moment I realized my V2 was gone, a piece of my heart broke too. In no time the device had become a part of my routine and its absence was felt immediately.
In Canada, the idea of processing an American guarantee through the mail seemed pretty daunting. Turns out I didn’t have to worry because Hitoki’s back-up division is really on their game. They sent me a return label for the defective device and a brand new device. The entire warranty process was super easy and took little effort on my part; All I had to do was email the company and let them know what was going on. They took it from there and that alone made it worth the price.
Secrets of Hitoki’s Trident V2 Laser Bong – An interview with the Creation Team
Despite all the extensive research, a few questions are still burning in my head. I couldn’t find any answers anywhere so I decided to go straight to the source. Fortunately, the company was kind enough to accommodate my curiosity. Your answers were interesting and worth sharing.
With the Trident V2, you can fire up bowl after bowl, refill instantly and never burn your fingers. It seems like there is no need to wait for the bowl to cool. How come the temperature of the flower bowl never seems to change? Is it just the ceramic? What’s up with heat transfer (or lack thereof)?
Great question! I would say it’s the ceramic material. However, the flared section on the outside of the loading chamber dissipates the heat. After a session, if you touch the bottom of the loading chamber, it’s warm, but the top is cool to the touch!
How did your company come up with such a cool idea? Where did the laser idea come from?
As I was thinking about different methods of consumption, the thought of smoking with lasers came to mind. I imagined what it would look like, the experience and function, but the way the lasers came to mind was purely coincidental.
When Jack and I were in elementary school, we bought laser pointers at a dollar store. The pointers had caps that you could replace, and each cap would shine an image of an object. It started our fascination with lasers, so much so that I even bought them to sell to classmates. Fast forward, one day I was sitting in the garage with Jack and I shared my new idea with him. We both agreed that my idea had great potential, so we decided to go for it. This is how the idea of lasers and entering the cannabis industry came together for us.
What is the actual temperature of the laser (or stadium)?
The Trident can reach up to 800 degrees and has 3 power levels low, medium and high.
Final Verdict
Spending $500 on a cannabis smoking device is a pretty big decision. For a casual marijuana smoker, this type of purchase might scream hype overkill; but for a heavy stoner it’s a whole different matter. Hitoki’s Trident V2 laser bong is an extremely efficient device and can withstand heavy use. If you’re looking for a way to change up your routine and want to invest in a quality piece, this is worth considering. And if it breaks, Hitoki will have your back.
