Bella Thorne’s Favorite Weed Products | Forbidden Flowers
Bella Thorne has long been open about her appreciation for cannabis. She has been smoking weed since she was young to treat her anxiety and related issues. In 2019, she and Glass House Brands launched cannabis brand Forbidden Flowers, selling pre-rolls, flowers, merch with 420-friendly slogans, and more.
“When I started Forbidden Flowers, cannabis was a topic that people just didn’t talk about, but it’s a big part of my life,” she told Weedmaps. “Smoking weed helps so many people feel better. But nobody talks about it.”
Her goal in starting Forbidden Flowers was to sell weed that she would smoke herself and to correct the fact that she rarely saw women in the cannabis industry. “I made the brand in a way that women — and everyone — can’t apologize for,” she said. “People who smoke weed should feel like they can be open, empowered, and embrace its benefits without judgement.”
Her passion for educating people about the physical and mental benefits of cannabis stems from the life changing effect it has had on her. “I used to suffer from anxiety, stomach cramps and panic attacks,” she recalls. “I went to the doctor and all they wanted to give me were pills to fix the problem. And I didn’t want that. So then my brother actually suggested trying cannabis. After trying it, I immediately felt better.”
Now she enjoys experimenting with a variety of strains. “What I like to smoke depends a lot on my mood. I smoke indica when I feel like I’m ‘on the couch’ – chill, chill, go to bed. But I love sativa when I have things to do or a long day because it calms my anxiety and helps me focus without getting overwhelmed.”
As Thorne is a dedicated cannabis user and now an expert in the industry, we asked her about her all-time favorite products. Here are her top 5 picks.
Forbidden Flowers: Chill Out
Available in Flower or Pre-Roll, this formula is designed to potentially help you do what stoners are known for: chill the eff out. It comes in two strains: the indica Midnight Thorneberry and the equally mild Cherry Trance.
“I love smoking this when I just want to chill at home with some friends or by myself,” Thorne said. “It’s perfect for when I’m just listening to music or watching a movie or want to unwind after a long night out.”

Turn On is available in the fruity strain Violet Daydream as well as the tropical strain Havana Heat. “It’s perfect for a date night with Ben or small dinner parties with my friends,” Thorne said. “It helps keep the conversation going and gives me that warm, fuzzy feeling that you get when you’re with people you love.”

Plus gummy bears
“I’m a big fan of gummy bears; they’re like little lucky bites,” says Thorne. “When I’m on the road or don’t really want to smoke, I go straight to Plus Gummies. And there’s a gummy for every mood: for in-between times I’m ready to relax, need something to pick me up, or just looking for some balance.”
Plus Gummies come in six different flavors: Concord Grape, Blackberry & Lemon, Tangerine, Tart Watermelon, Cucumber, Lime, and Tart Blueberry. The brand also makes gummies that contain CBN, balanced THC and CBD ratios, pure CBD options, and gummies made with unique cannabis strains.
