Beat the heat with weed buttermilk AKA Bhang Lassi
Bhang Lassi is nothing more than an edible cannabis preparation! It serves as a drink made by adding cannabis puree to yogurt or hung cottage cheese.
Bhang Lassi or Bhang is an important part of many Hindu festivals. The consumption of bhang in India has been known for centuries. It is mainly consumed during Holi. The effect of Bhang can last for approx. 3-8 hours, depending on the amount consumed. The scorching summer sun makes this drink refreshing. This recipe only requires simple ingredients and tastes divine.
Ingredients you need
- milk
- Suspended curd
- sugar
- Nuts of your choice for garnish
- And of course cannabis
Now we come to the recipe.
Step 1 – Remove all seeds from the cannabis and let it steep for a few minutes
Step 2 – Drain the water completely, save the collected water for later use
Step 3 – Now squeeze the leaves together with your hand to extract the remaining liquid.
Step 4 – Put the leaves in a blender with a little lukewarm milk along with the stored water
Step 5 – Grind slowly to make a firm paste
Step 6 – Add this paste to the hung cottage cheese or yogurt and mix well. You can also add some sugar, which is optional
Step 7 – Chill for a while and serve, garnish with almonds, cashews and pistachios.
The effects will be felt within a few minutes of consumption. The mashed cannabis can also be added to various recipes, such as making donuts. But the buzz the drink creates is the best.
