Ardent FX Product Review – Cannabis Life Network
If you’ve stunk your house preparing your flower for edibles, you surely thought there had to be a better way. The good news is that Ardent came up with a solution and, as a bonus, provided an oven to bake your edibles! Read on to learn more about how this can be the answer to your dreams of making edibles easier.
Explanation of the decarboxylation
If you are unfamiliar with the term, decarboxylation is the process that activates the compounds in cannabis. This is not necessary when smoking or vaping as the heat applied will instantly decarboxylate the cannabinoids.
When making edibles, adding the flower alone will not produce the desired effect. When you feel something, it’s just the tip of what you might feel if you activate the flower before cooking or baking with it.
Presentation of the Ardent FX
Ardent FX in a case and silicone cover box
The Ardent FX is a portable cannabis kitchen. It’s an easy-to-bake oven for the cannabis enthusiast with four times more capacity than Ardent’s first device, the Nova. The Ardent FX enables you to:
- Decarboxylate
- Infuse
- to bake
- Melt
The big bonus that Ardent FX offers is that you can decarboxylate your flower without stinking your whole house. The odor-free feature is a bonus for anyone living in an apartment that is not friendly to the smell of cannabis.
With the features available, you can make homemade herbal remedies and your oils, make cannabis butter, and prepare the flower for baking and cooking by adding them directly.
You can decarboxylate to different settings depending on the cannabinoid you are looking for:
The Ardent FX has four different settings. The various settings determine the amount of heat that the device uses. The temperatures for THC and CBD differ from the temperatures used for infusion and baking.
The maximum amount of flowers you can use in the Ardent FX is 4 ounces.
Whether you use 110V or 220V, you can buy a model that suits your energy needs. As soon as you have registered your device, you have a 1 year guarantee.

Ardent FX, silicone cover and cover
After decarburizing weed in our oven and worrying my father-in-law would get a contact high, I was excited when I found out about the Ardent FX. I bought the device from Ardent during the Black Friday sale, so I got the practical silicone cover, which I find super practical when pouring MCT oil.
While I’ve read some reviews on social media complaining that they get a strong odor from the Ardent, this is not my experience. We recently moved back to our apartment and I was paranoid that the neighbors could smell what I was going to do, but my husband assured me he didn’t smell anything.
I haven’t tried making butter yet, but I look forward to adding the butter to the Ardent FX after trying the stove top method!
