Another Weed Delivery App ends up in the Apple Store

Stem Holdings, Inc., which does business as Driven by Stem, announced on Monday that Budee, its e-commerce cannabis delivery platform and service, has launched the Budee Cannabis Delivery app, which is available on the Apple app Store is available for download.
Budee’s 173,000 loyal customers can now shop from its wide range and track orders to their doorstep with an intuitive app-based shopping experience, the Florida-based cannabis company announced.

Customers in California and Oregon can choose from an extensive, curated line of flowers, pre-roll, concentrates, edibles and accessories available on the Budee Marketplace app.
The new app also offers a seamless buying experience, full in-app e-commerce shopping of cannabis, special and exclusive offers, product offers, promotions, as well as expedited customer service and on-time delivery service.

Adam Berk, CEO of Stem, a vertically integrated farm-to-home (F2H) cultivation and technology omnichannel cannabis company in several states, called the move a “significant milestone” for the company.
“We are ready and excited to expand our technology leadership to 65% of our customers with an iPhone as well as to new customers who are enthusiastic about our great range and our personalized service and can now seamlessly and confidentially purchase cannabis products via their mobile device in our markets”, commented Berk. “We continue to focus on improving the customer experience and have introduced our Budee app in our current presence in California and Oregon to enable new customer acquisition and excellent service.”

The company also said Budee will expand into new markets in late 2021 and through 2022.

Apple hype continues
After Apple Inc. updated its guidelines to allow cannabis-centric apps in its business, several cannabis companies launched new apps for Apple’s iOS smartphone operating system.

Weed delivery company Eaze first seized the opportunity by launching a “first shoppable” app for iPhone users in July, followed by TPCO Holding Corp. (NEO: GRAM.U) who acted as The Parent. Company, Emjay and Leafly do business.
