The Emjays – International Cannabis Awards were awarded in the following 24 categories and were presented to:

Six finalists were selected in each award category, selected during the initial nomination period, which ran from May 12 to July 30, 2023. Winners in each category were determined through a “public voting process,” allowing registered public users to vote daily for their favorite finalists in each category. To complement this public submission, an internal jury was formed consisting of members from MJBizCon, Farechild and a coalition of leading cannabis media companies. The final results, a result of “public votes” and “internal evaluation,” were combined to determine the final winners.
