Should marijuana be part of your beauty routine?
The pursuit of perfect looks! There’s a variety of looks from classic to goth – the over-the-top Dolly Parton and demure beauty Audrey Hepburn.
Marijuana has a variety of beneficial properties, and beauty companies are taking advantage of them. Malin + Goetz and Estée Lauder see marijuana as having multiple uses to smooth, brighten, and enhance our appearance.
Marijuana in beauty products has a healing and strengthening effect on your body without getting intoxicating. The reality is, you just don’t use enough of it at once to notice a psychoactive effect. Even if you cover your face with a cannabis-infused foundation, it just won’t do the trick.

Estée Lauder, home of the wildly popular La Mer, launched its Origins brand, becoming one of the first mainstream cosmetics companies to launch cannabis-infused products. Quite innovative in 2018. Estée Lauder was a pioneer throughout her career. She invented the idea of giving a gift with purchase, which her competitors (and male commenters) thought was silly and no woman would care. She proved them wrong. She also developed licensing deals for designers, which was revolutionary in the fashion and art world.
