Cannabis Recipe 101: How To Make Vegan Pot Brownies
Consider the brownie. There are many reasons it’s been popular as an iconic cannasseur food for decades: It’s decadent, delicious, and masks the grassy taste of weed better than most.
But like many edibles, it may not fit into every digestive sweet spot. Often made with eggs and animal fats, brownies aren’t exactly vegan by nature. Or at least earlier. These delicious vegan weed brownies have all the ooey gooey goodness without the animal products – a truly upscale weed brownie experience.
Why make cannabis-infused treats with no animal by-products?
The reasons are endless: treat yourself, enjoy the weekend, share an experience with friends. Edibles offer a longer-lasting alternative to other methods of cannabis consumption and do not involve combustion; Making them at home also gives you more control over ingredients and dosage.
These weed brownies are vegan so you can indulge with other consumers who may have dietary restrictions or preferences.

ingredients
This recipe requires you to infuse your vegan butter with cannabis. If you are new to cannabutter, follow these instructions.
- 1/2 cup (115g) vegan cannabutter (melted)
- 1 1/2 cups (300g) sugar
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) non-dairy milk
- 2 teaspoons (10ml) vanilla
- 150 grams of flour
- 3/4 cup (90 g) cocoa powder
- 3/4 teaspoon (0.75 g) baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (0.50 g) salt
- 1 cup (175 g) vegan chocolate chips
Any non-dairy milk will work in this recipe. Silk has many non-dairy varieties, including oat, coconut, and almond. They are sweetened and unsweetened, so keep in mind that they can alter the taste of the brownies.
