A decent lemonade will make you forget all the worries of a hot summer day. Did you know that you can spice up your lemonade by making something called a “cann-o-nade”? How to make cannabis lemonade
There are two methods of making cannabis lemonade. The first method involves using a cannabis tincture while the second method involves using a cannabis syrup. We’ll cover both methods since you have the luxury of choosing whichever one you find comfortable and applicable.
Cannabis tincture method
A cannabis tincture is a cannabis concentrate made by steeping the cannabis plant in alcohol to extract the cannabinoids. This tincture is then used to make lemonade and other fortified foods and drinks. First, here are the ingredients needed to make a cannabis tincture.
Once these ingredients are gathered, the first step is to decarb the cannabis. The purpose of this is to activate the cannabinoids and make them active in the fortified food or drink. This is done by bringing the cannabis buds or leaves to a temperature of 115 degrees Celsius for 30 to 35 minutes. The decarboxylated cannabis can then be placed in the small jar and filled with 50ml of pure alcohol. Cover the jar with its lid and shake to mix its ingredients properly. This will help the alcohol extract the cannabinoids and speed up their process.
Leave the mixture for 5 days to ensure the cannabinoids are fully extracted. You can then strain the contents of the mixture using the measuring cup. A cheesecloth can be used to ensure that the plant matter does not get into the measuring cup. The hopper is then used to transfer the final product into medication bottles.

Step 1
Pour the lemon juice into the pitcher and if using lemons, use a juicer to squeeze out the contents. Make sure there are no seeds in the lemon juice, but the pulp can be in there if you like.

Add sugar to the lemon juice. You can use a few tablespoons of sugar if the mixture seems too acidic. If you also find it’s too sweet, you can add more lemon juice and a pinch of salt.

Cannabis syrup method
First make the cannabis syrup before using the prepared syrup to make a cannabis lemonade. The ingredients used for the cannabis syrup include:
Add the water and granulated sugar to the saucepan and bring to the boil to dissolve the sugar. Then add the cannabis to decarboxylate it, as this is the only way for the cannabinoids to become active in the infused beverage. Boil the contents slowly to avoid damaging the THC. Continue cooking for 20 minutes to allow for proper incorporation of all components.
Reduce the heat to allow it to simmer, then add glycerin. Stir occasionally while letting the mixture simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the heat and allow the mixture to cool. Use cheesecloth to strain the contents of the pot to remove unwanted plant matter.
