Medical marijuana card deals are now available on sites like Living Social and Groupon

Group offer sites, the most notable of which are Groupon and Living Social, are getting into the weed game by offering medical marijuana cards. This week, Living Social offered medical marijuana cards through Leafwell, Massachusetts. We’re not sure what to make of this in relation to the industry as a whole.
Blink reaction was that can’t be good, can it? Millions of “not very vetted” people getting medical marijuana card offers can’t be good, right? Or is it really, really good? A sign of mainstream acceptance, of maybe not recreational cannabis for everyone, but at least medical marijuana for everyone if it’s actually needed in some way.

So confusing but for now we’re going thumbs up as mainstream coupon and deal sites that peddle MMJ cards at half price must be good as these sites only want deals that make money and are popular. Looking at this theory in reverse, MMJ cards must be in demand, making money for the deal site and Leafwell, and mainstream America must be very comfortable with medical marijuana.
If only they could list Blue Dream pre-rolls now…
