What is the G Pen Micro +?

The G Pen Micro + is a hybrid wax pen and a rechargeable 510 cartridge battery. Unlike the other proprietary pod batteries in the G Pen line, the Micro + works with both 510 carts and concentrates, and uses modern cannabis technology to predict optimal temperatures for both.

The Micro + has a ceramic and quartz tank for vaporizing wax, shatter, sugar and other concentrates that can be unscrewed to reveal the connector for a cartridge. The one-button unit is approximately four inches long and the size of a thick sharpie or tube of lipstick. It comes tight in a hemp tote bag along with a 2 inch dabbing tool and USB-C charging cable.

What makes the G Pen Micro + different from other G Pens?

G Pen makes its own proprietary oil pods for its oil pen vaporizers, but the Micro + works with the ubiquitous 510 carts that shine under pharmacies from coast to coast, rather than the carts specially made by G Pen.

In addition, this pen has the functionality of an e-rig / dab-straw hybrid. When the mouthpiece assembly is removed to gain access to the tank, the E-Rig style concentrate can be added. When it is then reattached, the mouthpiece completes the dual channel housing and consumers can pull at will, much like a straw. The evenly convection of the tank makes it easy to clean after dabbing, and the weight of the battery feels much bigger than that of many pens.

The Micro + offers three different temperatures for carts and dabs and provides heat either manually or automatically, as desired. The cartridge detection technology predicts optimal temperatures and ensures even, balanced evaporation – regardless of the texture or extraction method of the concentrate, so that both cartridges and dabs hit with ease.

How does the G Pen Micro + work?

The functionality of the Micro + is pretty simple. To vape concentrates, first unscrew the mouthpiece from the base of its steel assembly. Then put your extracted material in the ceramic tank using the dab tool provided. After reattaching the mouthpiece, press the power button five times to turn on the device and twice to activate the automatic heating element (medium by default). Finally, a haptic response informs you when your selected temperature is reached (<10 seconds), after which you can pull out of the comfortable mouthpiece made of food-safe silicone.

When using the Micro + with a 510 cart, remove both the mouthpiece assembly and the ceramic tank, both of which are unscrewed from the primary housing with minimal effort. The well-known port for the car is located under the tank. Once the cart is screwed in, press the power button five times to turn it on, then activate the automatic heating technology by pressing the button twice more, or just hold the button while the light is pulsing and then release when They light up for a permanent manual heating experience.

The Micro + will automatically turn off after five minutes of inactivity.

Temperature change

The power button on the front of the Micro + is surrounded by a glowing LED that pulses in three different colors to indicate temperature, power and, if applicable, connectivity issues. Although the Micro + uses technology that intuitively predicts and adjusts temperatures and voltages depending on the medium being evaporated, consumers can easily navigate to their individual heating preferences.

To dab concentrates in the ceramic tank:

• Blue: low heat
• Green: medium heat
• Red: high heat

The tensions on carts are color-coded as follows:

• Blue: 2.5 volts
• Green: 2.75 volts
• Red: 3 volts

You can toggle between these temperature settings by pressing the power button three times once activated. The heating element will hold its temperature for 10 seconds before automatically shutting down.

Charge

The Micro + comes in a tidy hemp carrying case that also contains a dab tool and power cord. To charge the device, plug the supplied USB-C cable into the port on the base of the device. The power button flashes red while the device is charging and glows solid green when full power is reached.

When the device’s battery is low, the power button will flash five times, and in the event of a connection problem, the button will flash alternately red and green. The device charges in about 90 minutes and contains a long-life rechargeable LI-ION 850MAH battery.

How to clean the Micro +

The ceramic airway and tank are both easily separated from the device and can be wiped with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to remove any remaining material. The silicone mouthpiece can be wiped off easily, as can the exterior of the device. None of the parts need to be immersed to be cleaned efficiently.

Do not attempt to clean any part of the device after use before it has had at least five minutes to cool down to a comfortable handling temperature.
