JULABO USA manufactures instruments for internal and external temperature control of liquids for the cannabis and hemp industry as well as for research, science, laboratories, pilot plants and industrial processes.
Cannabiz Media recently spoke to Mark Diener, Senior Product Manager at JULABO USA, to learn more about how he and his team are using the Cannabiz Media License Database to support their marketing and sales initiatives.
Why does JULABO subscribe to the Cannabiz Media License Database?
JULABO USA subscribes to the Cannabiz Media License Database to contact licensed manufacturers and producers via email marketing and sales.
“Due to COVID-19 and some legal issues that we have to worry about, the Cannabiz Media License Database gives us the certainty that we are only addressing licensed manufacturers and producers,” explains Mark. “In the states where cannabis has been declared essential, we can reach them and actually look for new customers and mine them.”
The database also helps Mark and the JULABO USA team find the right people to connect with in meaningful ways. He says: “From a marketing and sales perspective, the ability to filter license holders by geographic features on the Cannabiz Media platform enables our account managers and teams to find the right people. I also love that we can drill down and examine a process in a company and actually filter out what type of extraction method they are using. “This focused segmentation helps the JULABO USA team get the best results from their email marketing campaigns.
In addition to filtering contacts and sending targeted email campaigns, the JULABO USA team uses the license notifications made available to subscribers to the Cannabiz Media License Database to keep track of licenses across the country and identify opportunities as they arise use.
For example, Mark and his team plan to take advantage of these timely warnings in the coming weeks. He shares, “There are a number of states during the elections that are considering either medicinal cannabis or recreational cannabis, and I think that shows what a great, powerful tool Cannabiz Media is. Once the election ends and we know what is happening, we can monitor the license information in the Cannabiz Media License Database and notify our account managers accordingly: “Hey, this company is opening a facility in this state. ‘”
What’s next for JULABO USA?
In the past few months, JULABO USA has developed a product called vDelivery that the team can use to assist customers with installation and training via an online video conference where they walk the customer through the setup and operation of the device.
The company also offers remote support after a client is installed. “We have a product called LucaVision,” explains Mark. “It is a virtual reality product that we can use to accelerate service units on site.”
In addition, this year JULABO USA released a new version of its app that allows a user to perform calculations to determine how much heating or cooling power they need, access instruction videos and get helpful information. Mark shares: “In our conversations with partners and end users, they really like the fact that we have an app because there are very few instrumentation companies that have this app.” In the fall, the app will have a new service component for Customers added.
