6 varieties that are on the menu in July

This month from The Drop, Dante Jordan’s column rounding up all the strains and dabs from the best brands and breeders not to be missed, looking at the expected releases from Wonderbrett, 710 Labs, and more.

What is good? It’s your boy Dante Jordan, aka Strain McMahon, and I’m back with more cannabis drops for your head. This month, with the 7/10 just around the corner, I wanted to bring in more oil products for people. It’s just right.

As I said earlier, it can be difficult to keep track of where and when a new product is available. This column is intended to provide a monthly overview, but to know when these drops hit a menu in your area, “favor” the strains and brands on Weedmaps and receive notifications when they are in your area.

Here are the new varieties that will hit pharmacy menus in July.

Wonder board: peach OZ

We just did a piece about Wonderbrett and the strains that got them to where they are today. It was 🔥🔥🔥, honestly. And I would hardly believe the newly released Peach OZ won’t be the same. Peach OZ is a cross between Peach Rings and Wonderbrett’s in-house OZ Kush. It unfolds great fruity aromas of ripe peaches, sweet citrus candies and cream, supported by four dominant terpenes: caryophyllene, linalool, limonene and humulene.

To describe the experience of the strain, Wonderbrett provided the following description: “Peach OZ is guaranteed to delight from head to toe and is bursting with aromas and aromas that are reminiscent of the sweet sea breeze and the fragrant orchards of our sunny state.”

Smash hits: dead hot strawberries

This year the man named “Chemdog” finally arrived on the legal market. With him came all of his genetics, but more importantly, the genetics he is creating for the future. Chem knows weed, man. So it’s exciting to see a new strain of him in the Canna Provisions flower line, Smash Hits. This variety is Dead Hot Strawberries.

Dead Hot Strawberries is a cross between Strawberry OG and Tropicana Cookies, so you already know it smells like a fruit medley. Canna Provisions told me that the palate of Dead Hot Strawberries is a “sour fuel and citrus dessert with strawberries,” with effects described as “Quick energy and creative moxie before the altitude with body soothing physical effects that keep your mind sharp and hold fast as your body sits firmly in the clouds. ”

The most dominant terpenes in this strain are myrcene, limonene, linalool, and humulene.

710 Labs: Marshmallow AND key pack

On the oil side, it only made sense to contact the 710 Labs in California to see what they were brewing. Boy do you have something for the people? In time for July 10th, the 710 Labs Marshmallow OG trial package will be released in a limited edition.

Marshmallow OG by Compound Genetics is a cross of Chem D x Triangle Kush with Jet Fuel Gelato.

The 710 trial package includes:

  • Half an ounce of Marshmallow OG Flower.
  • One gram of Marshmallow OG live resin capsule.
  • One gram of marshmallow OG rosin.
  • One gram of RSO
  • OG Persy Doink, which usually contains 1.5 grams of flower and 0.5 grams of water hash or rosin.

The pack will retail for … wait … US $ 420. Record it while you can.

Heylo: Sour Patch Kids

Heylo Cannabis is a Washington state processor known for its vape cartridges (this CBG blend is special). In late July, they’ll be releasing a line of dabs for the first time. Be excited.

I contacted Heylo to see which strain would make the debut; they told me Sour Patch Kids (SPK). SPK is a cross between Sour Diesel and Candyland that tastes earthy, gaseous and slightly sweet.

Refine x Mt. Baker Homegrown: Ice Cream Pie

The last time I was in Seattle I had a dollop of Orange Cake Loud Rosin by Refine and it left me sitting on my bum for hours. Amazing taste, amazing high and it all comes from an amazing company.

Refine is an extractor in Washington that does the Lord’s job. It is known for its Loud Resin line of premium hydrocarbon dabs, but recently they also started bringing out a Loud Rosin line. In July, on the holy oil day of July 10th, Refine will come onto the market with two new types of rosin that I can hardly wait to smoke: wedding cake and ice cream cake.

Both tribes became native to Mt. Baker. I’m particularly hype for the ice cream cake, it’s one of my all time favorite. And if that orange cake has a tendency to go down with the way it hits, boy … I’ll clear my schedule that day.

dosist x bear extraction house

In California, dosist is working on collaborations with Bear Extraction House and 710 Labs. The Bear Extraction House barrel has two new varieties in disposable resin cartridges: OCR and Northern Lights.

The 710 Labs barrel has two stems in disposable resin cartridges: Z. OZ and dolato # 10

The Northern Lights got my brain excited the most as it is one of the most classic and influential cannabis strains of all time. The first time I had the strain in college was a bloom, and a single part of it reeked the whole complex. The high was also a crazy sedative. If the live resin pen is similar from dosist and the bear extraction house, the people who get their hands on it will be a real treat.
