5 healthy ways to celebrate 420

4/20 is much more than a day to fill up company pockets – it’s a celebration of cannabis and community. It’s a day to meet with your favorite people and share your favorite greenery to honor how this little plant has changed our lives in so many ways. It’s a day to thank the Waldos for scheduling an extremely random time for a cannabis treasure hunt.

With those feelings at heart, here are five healthy ways to celebrate 420 and your love of cannabis.

Donation to a non-profit cannabis organization

Break bread with the people at 420. Although cannabis is legal in many states, under this umbrella is a whole world of corporations being destroyed by those in power. Social justice and opportunity for blacks and browns is a struggle. Equality for women is a struggle. Lobbying against the predatory tax structures is a struggle. Trying to break people out of prison for a corporate-making megamillion investment is a struggle. 4/20 is a good day to support the people and companies that are fronting these wars (on drugs) just so this industry can exist at all, and that cheap ounce deal you got at 420 can even to be possible.

Cop something from a small business

Anyone whose primary goal is to spread the gospel of cannabis and use it to positively impact humanity should have a chance to participate in this burgeoning industry. Shopping at a small pharmacy and/or buying weed from a small brand are two excellent ways to show that you believe the same thing.

Gift weed to someone in need

Fam, there’s no better feeling than giving fireweed to people. Especially people who don’t have the means to buy it themselves. Use today to bless someone with some warmth. Maybe a homeless person. Maybe a cute friend. Whoever. Let this be a day of sharing terps with those in need.

Puff, puff, pass, you know?
