- In Congress, the House of Representatives will reinstate and pass the MORE Act, but the Senate, under Mitch McConnell, will continue to block scrutiny of the federal legalization law. (Unfortunately that’s true.)
- New York, Connecticut, and New Mexico will pass adult legalization laws in 2021. (That’s right. Three wins!)
- Pennsylvania will wrestle with legalization, but ultimately it won’t happen in 2021. (That’s right, and there wasn’t even much wrestling.)
- 2021 will see the rise of long-term, ever-growing, local businesses like Cookies and Viola. Massive investment-driven expansion and lively national marketing campaigns are so 2019. (Spot on.)
