Magnitude vapes help UFC's Matt Frevola pack the punches
SteamRolla brings it to the point with Magnitudes London Pound Cake, White Widow and the new 4:1 CBN+THC.
Magnitude, one of America's leading vape brands, is reshaping the vape landscape once again, and this time they're not alone. They recently partnered with Matt “SteamRolla” Frevola, one of the most electrifying fighters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Matt's heavy hands make him a natural partner for an earth-shattering brand like Magnitude, and he claims their high-quality carts are vital to his training before a fight and his relaxation process after the fight is over. Not every vape cart could withstand the rigorous demands of the SteamRolla lifestyle, but Magnitude vapes pass this test. They are more than willing to keep up with anything Matt or you can throw at them.
We sat down with Matt to talk struggles, his relationship with the cannabis community in his hometown of Long Island, and how he uses the plant to achieve peak performance. We also got Matt's thoughts on some of his favorite Magnitude carts, including London Pound Cake, White Widow, and 4:1 CBN+THC cartridges, and how each of these strains fills an important niche for SteamRolla.

“Mixed martial arts is about choice…choosing the type of fighter you want to be.”
Matt Frevola
Matt is one of the UFC's most recognizable faces, with seventeen professional fights under his belt, but it wasn't always that way. Before his charming grin appeared in both the first season of Dana White's Contender and the latest UFC video game, Matt was a scrappy kid from Long Island with a passion for fighting, family and Dragon Ball Z. That love of martial arts prevailed He traveled with him around the world and even completed intensive martial arts studies in Thailand. Matt's innate competitive drive transformed him into the SteamRolla, a pistol-punching powerhouse that has dominated the octagon for over a decade.
Matt has a more introspective side, which might surprise some given his ferocity in the ring. For Matt, fighting is as much about freedom and creativity as it is about discipline and strength. They are called martial arts for a reason, and like any painter or dancer, Matt and many other professional fighters express themselves through their chosen medium. According to Matt, it was this freedom of expression that drew him to mixed martial arts in general and Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in particular. “Mixed martial arts is about choice, it's about all types of fighting at the same time and learning what's best for you… it's just about choosing the type of fighter you want to be,” Frevola said.

Matt's tips
While Matt may be a light fighter, he claims to be a heavy smoker with an iron lung and a feel for the intricacies that make great products. He turns to cannabis to support his intense physical training and deal with the stress that comes with performing at a high level. Matt is also a big proponent of recreational use of the plant and loves enjoying a celebratory cigarette after a big win.

“Listen, you just have to try.”
Matt Frevola
Matt has been smoking the crème de la magnitude e-cigarettes for the past few weeks and The SteamRolla has picked out a few of his favorite knockout strains. However, this is just the tip of the Magnitude iceberg – there are dozens of incredible strains, and there's sure to be one that's perfect for your mood.
Magnitude London Pound Cake

Magnitude's London Pound Cake cartridge is a deliciously sweet indica-like strain that, like Matt, has a friendly demeanor but packs a powerful punch. She is the offspring of an unknown but certainly quite potent Indica and Sunset Sherbert, another famous couch-locking Indica. That's a lot of powerful indica genetics packed into one strain, and the Magnitude hardware takes this already intoxicating strain to a whole new weight class. This strain gets its delicious vanilla flavor from high levels of the terpene myrcene, which Matt says helps him feel calm.
London Pound Cake is Matt's favorite flavor for the evening. It helps him unwind and relax enough to get some sleep and wake up feeling refreshed and clear-headed. “After a long day, I take a long walk and then I just fall asleep! Then I sleep well and wake up completely rested,” said Frevola.

Matt also found that he particularly liked Magnitude's White Widow cartridge, and he's certainly not the only one who appreciates this icon. Easily one of the most famous strains in the world, White Widow is a sativa hybrid that has earned a reputation over the decades as a fantastic tool for creativity and sociability. White Widow by Magnitude is one of the most convenient and flavorful ways to vape this strain. White Widow's DNA is descended from an unknown Brazilian sativa landrace and an equally obscure, hard-hitting Indian indica, a mysterious lineage that only makes White Widow's unique, woody herbal aroma all the more distinctive.
Even though Matt doesn't use cannabis before a real fight in the octagon, he's a big fan of getting out and smoking every now and then while sparring in his gym. White Widow is Matt's favorite strain when he wants to get in touch with his wild side. “I take a low dose [of White Widow] and then I do, for example, reverse berimbolo or something else crazy!” said Frevola. “And of course, it's just more fun.” If you're looking for something to use while exercising, doing creative activities, or socializing, then click the link below and dance to Magnitude's White Widow.
Strength 4:1 CBN+THC

CBN is this year's breakthrough cannabinoid, and Magnitude is one of the first companies to offer a vape cartridge that combines CBN and THC in one unit, and Matt is just one of the mix's many fans. CBN (also known as cannabinol) is a non-intoxicating novel cannabinoid that is related to, but distinct from, its better-known older brother, CBD. CBN has started to make a name for itself, but the party really starts when you combine CBN with THC. This tendency for cannabinoids to work together to create more than the sum of their parts is known as the “entourage effect.” Magnitude is one of the few vape brands on the market that offers products that utilize this combination of CBN and THC to incredible effect.
For Matt, finding the time to relax and unwind can be a huge challenge, but he claims Magnitude's new CBN+THC carts help him deal with the pressures of life in the public eye. A sharp mind is as important to Matt's fighting philosophy as maintaining a strong body, and he has begun incorporating Magnitude's CBN+THC cartridge as an essential element into his routine. “I knew about CBD, but I had never heard of CBN, but I love it!” said Matt. Take it from Matt – CBN+THC is the real deal.
Matt's top three strains are all certainly champions, and there are even more fantastic strains in Magnitude's list waiting for you to discover. Neither Matt nor Magnitude are ones to rest on their laurels, they are constantly moving and innovating. Magnitude is available at Verilife stores and other select retailers across the state.
