Differentiating Reddit from other marijuana blogs

Not everything here is true or accurate

With a platform as porous as Reddit, it’s not uncommon for fake new updates to be uploaded. While moderators act as fact checkers to confirm the authenticity of the information submitted, they cannot see all of them.

Speaking to The Cannigma, the R / cannabis growing host said that the platform’s biggest problems arise when people try to spread false claims and misinformation.

Novice growers who pretend to be experts and know-it-alls, blogs dropping links with click-bait headlines, users offering wrong solutions, etc. are typical examples of this challenge.

To be on the safe side, users are always advised to research additional information that may seem helpful. Regardless of the day of the Redditor who made the post, try to confirm the dates. Sponsors and brands are now paying creditors to influence and sell their products. This gives other users the wrong impression that the products are good. Fortunately, Google is just a click away.

Reddit is the social media platform that cares most about cannabis because it gives users the freedom to post whatever they want. However, the platform removes all posts that contain information about buying or selling cannabis products. Even so, Reddit is still the most weed tolerant room.

One Redditor wrote that Reddit probably has more weed users than there are in public. The stigma normally associated with cannabis use is greatly reduced on Reddit, likely because a lot of the Redditors are younger generations.
