“Secondary outcome assessments showed improvements in mood measurements, sleep disorders, quality of life, and executive functioning after treatment,” the researchers wrote. They found that the key aspects of improvement were observed in faster performance with fewer errors on many executive function tasks.

“Initial results from the open-label phase of this clinical trial demonstrated a significant improvement in the primary outcome assessment of anxiety and provided preliminary evidence that a full-spectrum product high in CBD can be effective in treating anxiety with few side effects” , they concluded .

How to treat with CBD for anxiety
