Price: $70 per eighth, but varies
If there was one breeder that epitomized “every brand’s favorite breeder,” it would be Fiya Farmer. With one release after another, he's churned out top-notch flavors that tick every box imaginable and are the kind of things we serious stoners care about.
Crunch Berriez is a strain that has been in development for almost half a decade and, according to Fiya Farmer, is still a long time coming after crossing generations of his goalie selections. The actual quality of the flower goes far beyond the hype and this strain combines Zangria, Gelonade, Billy Kimber OG and Georgia Pie. Crunch Berriez smells like Crunch Berries. In the spirit of “Going Balls to the Wall,” this five-way collaboration is packaged in a die-cut bag and an embossed cereal box to capture the motif. Fiya Farmer feared that this would just be a gimmick, but not all gimmicks are created equal and reducing this to a mere gimmick is simply not true.
“When I hunted it, it gave itself a name,” said breeder Fiya Farmer. This collaboration included the brands Backpack Boyz, 5Points and Doja Pak, which hunted the parents of the line, as well as The Finest Farms, which has been operating 100-light rooms with elite genetics for years. Fiya Farmer conducted a “triple check” with all stakeholders. Everyone agreed that the selection was essentially marketing itself.
The selection is as tasty as it is shockingly strong. The berry granola flavor is also slightly more menthol and gassy than the smell, leaving a welcome bad breath aftertaste.
If you're looking for weed to treat yourself to, this is certainly the one for you, but Fiya Farmer has also released this strain as a cut, so look out for it on your hometown hero's menu. – Max Blickstein
