Clock: How Landrace tribes change weed tourism

Deep in the confused forests and extensive vineyards of the wine country of Anderson Valley in Mendocino, California, is a new kind of cannabis tourism experience that focuses on rare Landrace cannabis stems. It's called Madrones.

The Madrones is a site that consists of elegant accommodations, a restaurant in farm-to-table, two wine tasting rooms, a venue called Brombles in a Redwood Grove and a pharmacist dispensory of the cannabis brand of the owner, the bohemian chemist.

“I remember the cannabis that I had four decades ago,” said Jim Roberts, who owns and operates the Madrones and the Bohemian chemist with his partner Brian Adkinson. “The effects were really unique and very special. Everything was imported, from Thailand, Mexico or Vietnam and so on.”

The Bohemian chemist farm was originally the mother of Roberts, who increased there until her death. As a gardener herself, Roberts was dissatisfied with the current flower on the market and wanted to bring the genetics of single source genetics, which defined the kaleidoscopic heights of his Bohemian youth in today's market.

“When I came back to cannabis and we founded our brand, there were so many polyhybrids out there. I just didn't get the effects that I remembered of my youth,” he said. “Then I started digging back and trying to find the original building blocks of the landing of that time.”

He continues: “Many of them had a high degree of smaller cannabinoids. Their terpen profiles were different. The complexity of what they were was simply very, very different overall.
