Chicago cannabis pharmacy aimed at the crash-and-grave attempt in the early morning

In the early morning hours of March 26, 2025, a cannabis pharmacy in Jefferson Park in Chicago was the destination of a crash-and-grave burglary attempt. At around 2 a.m., an SUV was in the front of the Cannabell pharmacy in 4758 N. Milwaukee Ave. driven, which significantly damage the shop front.

Incident details

The chicago police officers reacted to the pharmacy shortly after the incident. On arrival they discovered the vehicle in the front window of the building. Preliminary reviews showed that the warehouse area that contained cannabis products remained safe and there were no direct indications of stolen goods or cash.

Examination and reaction

From Wednesday morning there were no suspects in custody. Detectives of area 5 have initiated an investigation of the attempted burglary, checked monitoring material and collected evidence in order to identify those responsible. The pharmacy has not published an official statement on the incident.
