3 Cannabis Products Musician Dre Island Can’t Live Without

Musician and singer Dre Island from Kingston, Jamaica has written love songs for cannabis and they can all be heard on his latest album High Times. Dre has been moved by music since childhood and his talents speak through his unique sound, partially aided by cannabis. “For me, cannabis was a part of all of my creative processes,” he said. “When I’m making a beat, when I’m producing a beat, when I’m writing a song, when I’m shooting a video, when I’m taking photos — I’ve never been set up to do anything that’s wrong or illegal.”

A classically trained pianist, Dre’s musical influences span all genres, and his own songs range from reggae to a mix of everything in between. He has collaborated with several artists throughout his career, including Popcaan with “We Pray”, which has now garnered millions of views and downloads. He was also featured on Wyclef Jean’s 2020 single “Justice”, dedicated to Ahmaud Arbery, who was murdered by white supremacists in February 2020.
